So many books and don't know what I'm in the mood for. Wanna help out for fun? :)
I pulled these out:

The innocent - Posie Graeme Evans
Vainglory - Geraldine McCaughrean
The touch - Colleen McCullough
An irresistable temptation - Carol Baxter
Star of the north - Helene Lehr
Duchess - Susan Holloway Scott

Any suggestion? :)

I would go for either The Innocent or An Irresistible Temptation.

Write them all on separate bits of paper and put them in a hat - then pull out the winner!:D Other than than, I can't help you as I haven't read any, although I do have The Innocent on my TBR pile. And I think I have Duchess.

I really liked Duchess if that is any help! But then I also have Vainglory around here somewhere. A few people here were singing its praises some time ago and I hunted down a copy.

I loved Vainglory, but you might need to be in Dorothy Dunnett mode to give it a full appreciation. It's crossover literary.
I read the middle of the PGE trilogy and wasn't keen, but I know a lot of readers loved the series. I haven't read/been near reading any of the others - sorry!

"Duchess" is good, even if I didn't like Sarah Churchill, what a shrew!

Having a draw is a good idea. Why didn't I think of that? :p

Thanks for the input guys. I decided to go with the trilogy of The Innocent since it has been on my TBR pile for years. I'm not sure if I'll like it but have to give it a go. It started of with a bang so might be good.
Very curious about Duchess now so that has been bumped up on my list.

I've read The Touch and found it to be an enjoyable evening read.
Duchess is fairly good for a first novel.

I really need to push my Colleen McCullough books up in my TBR pile. I loved The thornbirds when I read it all those years ago and even The Ladies of Missalonghi was a pleasant read.

Anything by McCollough is good.

I had no idea Vainglory was a crossover. :( I haven't tried to concept and don't think I would like it either. Ah well have to give it a go since I have the book.
Finished The innocent, I enjoyed it while I was reading it but now that I finished it I'm not sure what to think.

I read The Innocent and really liked it. If I remember correctly it was the first of a trilogy but the others were just ok.

You do remember correctly. :) I might pick up the second one today since I'm on a roll.
