Thank you everyone! I had a lovely birthday up in Lake Tahoe. Sorry I've been absent; I'm dealing with a minor health setback - very minor, no need for worry - and exploring the possibility of taking early retirement from my day-job, plus the usual crazy deadlines. Just turned in I, ISABELLA OF CASTILE (June 12, 2012 pub date) and writing SPYMASTER 2. Here's a photo of me on b-day in Tahoe with my corgi, Paris.
