Peter died today, he was 83. I used to watch "Columbo" when I was younger. May he rest in peace.

I mainly watched the ones they did in the late 80s, and the 90s. He, of course, was always right.

Columbo: Oh, there's just one more thing...

Colombo was cool! Sad news- must admit I had a WTF moment when I realised that Peter Falk was 83! Where does the time go?

Never cared for Columbo that much but one of my college boyfriends did so I watched some. My favorite role of his was in Princess Bride. I can't read that book without hearing his voice.

I remember seeing the "Columbo" series on A&E when I was in college. Fun to watch too! And "Princess Bride" as the Grandfather.

Didn't realize he was in his 80s but it makes sense. I remember one particular episode of Columbo where he was holding a test tube over his lighter to demonstrate that some particular thing turns blue when it's heated. I know that had something to do with solving the case but I can't remember what.

Sad news. What I remember most about Columbo was the constant references he made to his wife - but we never saw her, like Maris on Frasier.

Loved watching Columbo, that crazy car he had.
