Has anyone seen this series on Showtime? Is it accurate? Close? I think it would be fascinating to watch if I can get a hold of it somehow.

It only starts April 3rd.

The first episode leaked a while ago, and it was as accurate as "The Tudors". Some dramatic license, but overall mostly accurate.

But we'll have to wait and see how it turnes out.

The 100 minute premiere episode is already on Showtime's "On Demand". I watched it the other day and really enjoyed it. I'm not familiar enough with the history to know about the accuracy, but it makes for some fun TV (and better than all the reality crap out there).

I watched it on net and I liked it. Can't say much about accuracy but it was entertaining.

I have program called vuze that searches torrent files from net. I would have missed so many shows without that.

Can't say much about accuracy but it was entertaining.
Ditto the above :D

Saw the first double episode last week - thought it was sumptuous, classy and completely gripping. Kicked the Tudor's well-padded a$$ IMHO ;)

I''ll give it a go when it comes out on DVD. Still think it would be itneresting if they did a russian royal family. They were so messed up. So while I could careless about the people in this one I'll watch it the same way I'll watch the new Jane Eyre because its historical drama.
