Does anyone know a reputable writing contest for teens? My niece is interested in writing and I want to encourage her.

Not a contest per se but has she looked into the Young Writers Program that NaNoWriMo has? It's open to anyone 13-17.

Writing-World.com (http://www.writing-world.com/index.shtml) has a newsletter that frequently posts writing contests (with no fees) and I've seen several contests listed there for young writers. You might be able to search back issues at their website. Good luck!
