Good stuff, Cuchulainn, looks as if everything is pretty much covered! Your mention of Sharpe reminds me that there is a non-fiction book (http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/books/x/x4021.htm) around called "The Sharpe Companion" which is quite handy.

Yeah, I've used that before. It's a great site and has a lot of minor stuff that takes forever to find, like the facings of uniforms for the different regiments. The book reviews are good too. I have two links on my blog that are brilliant for all things Napoleonic. Here they are:

http://www.napoleon-series.org/ - a lot of articles written by academics but also has things like regimental postings and their officers for the British, French, Russian, Austrian and Prussian armies.

http://napoleonistyka.atspace.com/index.html - this has things like orders of battle (so you know which regiments were at which battle), the battles themselves, overviews of the history and structure of the above armies, army tactics and formations and other various stuff.

Three very good sources!
