Not sure how this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1594146985/sr=1-1/qid=1220808623/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&qid=1220808623&sr=1-1&seller=) one got through like this on Amazon but it's worth a chuckle to see.

Choctaw is a Southern native American tribe descended from previous Mississippian cultures.

Not sure how the book title got weirded out, but the one and only review is Amazon's *cough* highly respected #1 reviewer. Some of the chit chat on one of her other reviews suggests that she gave it five stars at B&N so someone must have complained about that. How the comment ended up in the title itself it a mystery.
they don't hire rocket scientists to enter the data over at Amazon, you know.

There was recently a contest to find the strangest book title. The winner was Greek Rural Postmen and their Cancellation Numbers by Derek Willan!

The sequel should be: Dear Amazon, how do you hire your staff? I think that they need to be better qualified to work on wbesites.

LOL! Don't be too hard on Amazon. With the vast numbers of titles they process, it's amazing they don't make a few more mistakes like that. Something just got entered into the wrong box, I suppose. I've seen title glitches at Powell's, too, though nothing even close to that bad! (Powell's being my hometown bookstore, it's my fave - but also, the pages load way faster than at Amazon, and if you order $50 of books at a time - all too easy to do - you never pay any postage.)

Margaret as many trips I've made to Portland I've never dared to go into powells. I'd be lost. I like posting reviews on their site and getting the chance to win their daily dose prize. I won once, got $25 in free books. :)

Oh, Misfit! Every book lover should explore Powell's if they get the chance. I can't believe you didn't go in. It's not that easy to get lost. There's an information desk in just about every room, and signs showing which way to which rooms, plus a fold-out map of the whole store that any customer can pick up and carry around with them (and keep, if they want to). The rooms are all color-coded. It's so much fun!
