Bookseller magazine's award this past Friday for oddest book title is Greek Rural Postmen and Their Cancellation Numbers. The runners up were People Who Don't Know They're Dead and How To Avoid Huge Ships.
The winner was Proceedings of the Second International Workshop on Nude Mice on the first year the prize was given. And then How To Bombproof Your Horse was once a favorite.
I scanned my bookshelves for the most unusual title and came up with The Hard to Catch Mercy by William Baldwin.
What's odd on your shelves?
