How was Shadow Patriots? I've read other books by LSt.CR, and enjoyed them (Fearless and Ride the Wind).

I really liked it - it's not your typical American Revolution novel.

Mary Luke has been one of my favourite authors about the Tudors, and I've enjoyed reading The Ivy Crown several times over. I've always wondered what happened to Mary Seymour...

I liked it - better than her Eleanor the Queen, but not better than The Concubine.

Hi Tanzanite,

I would be interested to know how you liked On a Higland Shore by Kathleen Givens, I have it sitting on my TBR shelf for a while already.

Carine,

I thought it was good. I don't know very much about Scottish history so I can't comment as to the historical accuracy of the book, but I did find it very interesting. This isn't a bodice-ripper romance book; there is a romantic element to the story but the couple actually don't spend that much time together in the book. The story is set in 1263 and focuses on raids on the country by the Norse/Vikings.
