One of the other things that DG is working on is a graphic novel that is kind of part of the Outlander series.
There are new details (http://voyagesoftheartemis.blogspot.com/2008/09/graphic-novel.html) up on her blog today including a sample script page (http://voyagesoftheartemis.blogspot.com/2008/09/graphic-novel-sample-script-page.html)
There are also some sample images somewhere on her website, but I can't find them right at the moment.

If you scroll to almost the bottom of the page, there is a drawing of Claire for the Graphic Novel. :D
No drawing's of Jamie! Can't wait to see what they come up with! :D
July '09??? I was thinking it was due out at the end of this year and the 7th Outlander book was due out next year! I'm looking forward to this one, I just wish it didn't take her sooo long between books. I'm glad I came late to the scene as I would've gone crazy waiting between all those books!

The graphic novel has a title:
The Exile: An Outldander Graphic Novel
and it should be out some time next year.
You can get a sneak peak (http://voyagesoftheartemis.blogspot.com/2009/09/exile-graphic-novel-is-done.html) at DG's blog.

Wow, can't believe it- New Zealand (http://voyagesoftheartemis.blogspot.com/2009/09/and-one-morenew-zealand-events.html)gets to have its very own events!
The GN looks pretty cool :)

The art is good.
Comics are trying to snag more famous authors to work on their books. Stephen King, Tamara Pierce, Some guy whose name escapes me now, Laurell K. Hamilton are just a few. Its an interesting trend.

Lovely artwork! I'm not one for graphic novels, but I might just be tempted by this one!!:D

is this a graphic novel or a comic book, which are two different things. I ask cause I'm wondering if this is coming out in single issues. If its bound with multiple issues then yes its a GN.
It just doesnt seem to be clear and people often confuse the two.

Well, it's out and the reviews are mixed (although Harriet gave it four). I am waiting for the library copy. Anyone else giving this a try?

I forgot about it.
Lol, I would have also except the Outlander group at Goodreads is buzzing about it. Can't keep up with the comments ;)

comics are a hard sell for those who don't read them. Many believe it is dumbed down. That's false, but thats how many feel.
