That first one w/ the big white cat is a hoot!! One of my all time favs. Maybe because it could be one of my cats!!

And, Boswell, Mom (LindyMc), who reads your blog every day, told me about your use of the LOLCats for your "profiles" of Edward II & Richard III. So, after I got such a tickle out of them, I directed my daughter to them. She, of course, loved them as well. Her favorite was Edward II and within that "story," she loved the picture captioned, "You not like my friend?" the best.

No, poor guy--he managed to release himself from his oppressor in the bedroom, after which he came back periodically to inspect it and to make sure it was good and vanquished. Wouldn't know it from the arrogant, smug expression he wears around us, but this is a cat who has to hide for three or four hours after a stranger enters the house. Even when my father comes to feed them while we're on vacation, he hides, though he's had plenty of occasions to make the association between my father's arrival and the appearance of fresh cat food on the kitchen floor. My father is convinced that this cat doesn't exist--he's never seen him.

That's my little Misfit - terrified of strangers. Her poor experience with the bag started off innocently and next thing I knew it was flying through the house (that was in December when I was still using the walker mind you). I couldn't figure out where she "landed" so I sat in the living room until I noticed the bag handles peeking out from behind the entertainment center. I go to pull the bag and get it away from her, only to find she's in there and she backed herself up further into her corner. I got a broom handle and tried to scare her out that way - it did work but she still wore the bag and headed towards the bedroom when she finally lost it. I removed the bag but it was most of the rest of the day until she recovered from her terrifying experience. :o:)

Right click over the web image you want and select properties. Highlight the URL for the image and copy. Come back here and look at the top of your dialogue box - click insert image (it's the pic icon just below the undo button). A small box opens up and then paste the URL in there and click OK. Give it a shot.

As far as I know. If I need it in a pinch (and I can't do it at goodreads either unless it's a web image) I stick the pics I want on a private thread at my LJ account and then like magic I have a URL to use.
