The first episode of A World So Wide is up at the HistoricalNovels.info blog (http://www.historicalnovels.info/historical-novels-blog.html) now. It's set in medieval Germany and is about a young woman who becomes entangled in a murderous feud between a princess of Burgonden and the powerful lord who tries to prevent both women from marrying the men they love.

Hope some of you will enjoy it!

I'm planning to post episode #2 on Friday. Beginning Friday, there will also be a page where people can catch up on previous episodes. Hopefully, that will make it easy for people who'd like to read whole chapters at a time to do that, too, when enough episodes have built up.

Is that Kriemhild of the Nibelungenlied? Many thanks for posting it - I'm game to read more :-)

So glad you're enjoying it! Yes, it is indeed Kriemhild of the Nibelungenlied. Dark deeds will be afoot. Episode #2 appears this Friday.

Tomorrow, I'll be featuring an interview with June Hutton, the author of Underground, about a Canadian soldier who was buried alive in a WWI trench. Yikes! The novel makes you really believe in the aftereffects.
