Has anyone heard anything about this new one coming out next month?

I just received this ARC in the mail but I have no idea how I got it!

It's been making the rounds on Amazon Vine and LibraryThing Early Readers -- I've heard some people say it's a few notches about the usual romantic fiction disguised as HF.

Ick really? I got it off of vine. Is this going to be another Mistress of Rome?

I hadn't heard anything about it so I was curious if anyone had.

I'm not a Vine member so I know that's not how I got it. Lol. I am a member of Librarything but I haven't won anything from them. Then again, that's not saying much because after receiving the emails from Dec and Feb's batches saying I didn't win one...the site is now showing that I HAVE (and I even got one in the mail yesterday).

All of a sudden ARCs are showering down upon me and I don't know where they're coming from! Haha!

I've heard that is something that can happen once they get a hold of your addy. I hope never to have that problem and for the most I'd rather get the few ARC's I do get from Vine (although I have no complaints as far as Sourcebooks), and the rest from the library.

Someone gave it a good write-up on te Amazon Best HF You've read Recently thread, but it would have to be very good indeed to beat Jude Morgan's excellent novel about the Brontes- ""A Taste of Sorrow" ( I think in the States that Morgan's book is to be titled "Charlotte and Emily" - how boring!)

I think I have this one on my TBR once it is released here. Glad to hear that it is a good read. :)

I don't really mind that I'm getting them but I just am not sure who to contact with a link once I post a review. I'd love to get more from Sourcebooks...

Isn't there a contact on the ARC? There should be -- e-mail this, say it fell from the sky, you're grateful, but wondering to whom to direct the review, and you be delighted to review more! And yes, the Morgan was -- yum -- perfect! *kisses fingers and opens them to the air, a l'italiano*

There's only a general internet address for Ballantine Books that I can find.

Robinbird, I'll PM you the publicist's contact info - I requested an ARC from her last week, and it arrived yesterday.
