My name is Britta and I came to your forum via a link on SK Penman's blog to Lady Moppet's adventures - what a treat, I can't wait for more installments, and to find recommendations of good books to read.

I am currently finishing Wainwright's "Within the Fetterlocks" and also PM Kendall's "Richard the Third" (yes, I am a multiple-books-at-once reader) and have JJ Norwich's "History of Venice" waiting for me and plan on reading Chadwick's "Greatest Knight" soon. You know how it is: Too much to read, too little time. My TBR pile is growing rapidly. Is there a career in "professional reading"?

Anyway, thanx for this greyt forum.

Hi bb. The only career I can think of under professional reader would be either in editing or as a critic. But boy would it be nice to get paid to read what we already love!

Hello and welcome, bb. Come to think of it, maybe I can start my own business as an out-loud-reader of my TBR's to book lovers who can't read for themselves for probable health reasons. They just can't pick their own books for the hourly fee they'd be required to pay! ;)
