I think I will like this site. I just hope I don't spend too much time here!

I have been attempting to write historicals for the past five years and have recently begun submitting. I was introduced to historicals as a nine-year old, when I read Hitty, her First Hundred Years, by Rachel Field. I loved the sweep of the novel, and over the years Historical Novels have remained my favorite reading. It took a lot for me to attempt to create stories of my own.

My present two favorite writers are Sharon Kay Penman and Bernard Cornwell, but there are a lot of other writers whose works entrance me.
