Hi All! It's great to have our own forum, isn't it?!

I was born in the San Fernando Valley, CA and now split my time between the snowy peaks of CA and Chamonix, France. My husband is from Zimbabwe by way of England, and we both love to travel and talk history.

I'm a full-time writer of historical fiction. My debut novel was Nefertiti. It will be followed by The Heretic Queen on September 16, 2008 and Cleopatra's Daughter on September 15, 2009!!

Hi Michelle! I'm so jealous of where you live (France). It seems like your first novel is doing well, and I'll be excited to read more about your new one coming out in a few weeks. Good luck with the PR tour.

Hi TSJmom. Thanks!

And I only live in France for half the year... although someday soon I hope it will be a permanent move! My goal is to buy a chateau, even if I can only afford the turret. And of course, everyone will be welcome to come stay in my dilapidated turret (although they might have to bring blankets)!

I loved "Nefertiti" and am looking forward to reading "Heretic Queen" but it might be awhile before I get it. I know BF won't get it til it's in paperback and I don't buy a lot of books online.

I have a comfy sleeping bag! Just tell us when ;). So glad you're back with us and I'm also looking forward to your Heretic Queen.

Thank you, SonjaMarie! Is BF a store in Australia?

And Leyland, I'll see you in the chilly turret, sleeping bags and all ;]
