My latest historical fiction reference book was officially released on Monday :)

Yep... it's got a headless cover! (A rare specimen for the genre... a headless man.) It's a guide to historical novels published in the US since mid-2004, with over 2,700 of them described, annotated, and arranged by sub-genre. It discusses the history of HF and analyzes trends in the field, and it also includes other HF-related resources (this forum's included) and recommended reading lists. More details at the publisher's website (http://www.greenwood.com/catalog/LU8624.aspx).
Oh, and it weighs about 4 lbs. During times when it's not in use, it can be used as a handy doorstop or paperweight.
