I have been a lurker in these forums for months now, and I have finally gotten up the courage to register! everyone in these forums is so insightful, and hopefully I will be able to contribute in some way!
Anyway, my name is Cassandra, I am a grad student and live in the beautiful little town of Ashland, Oregon.

Glad you're here! I had a college buddy from Ashland and he used to brag about it quite a lot. Im assuming it wasn't exaggeration?

Hi Cassandra welcome aboard. Its been ages since I've been to Ashland but I have a co-worker who goes to the Shakespeare festival every year. I need to take a jaunt to Oregon soon, on top of the gorgeous scenery no sales tax :o:p:)

I knew that your avatar was a Fragonard, but had to check out the original, seeing that MLE asked about it. It was part of a series called "The Progress of Love", and your lady was from the painting called "The Meeting"- lovely.
